APPLICATION:
Read entire label and PDS/MSDS before using. This product is to be used directly from container and is not under any circumstances to be thinned or diluted with anything before use.
Small Areas or Spots: Apply Epoxy Grout Film Remover to the surface with a paint brush. Try to avoid getting on the grout joint. Allow to remain on the surface for 20 - 30 minutes and check repeatedly for softening of the cured epoxy film. You may need to allow for a longer cure time depending on how long film was down for and amount of film left on the surface. Allow to remain on the surface until the epoxy film is easily loosened. Remove Epoxy Grout Film Remover and residual epoxy film using a stiff-bristled brush (not steel wire) or coarse nylon scrubbing pad. Multiple applications may be necessary for more difficult situations. After removing residue, scrub the surface with a nylon pad and a solution of Mira Clean #1. Remove cleaning solution with a wet vacuum. Rinse with clean water after use and allow to dry. Large Areas - Floors: Pour directly onto the surface and spread liberally with a brush or lamb’s wool applicator. Work small areas approximately 3 feet wide. Avoid stepping into the solution. Allow to sit on the surface 15-30 minutes and agitate with a stiff brush. Begin checking for softening of the epoxy film every 5 minutes. Once the epoxy film has softened, remove it and the Epoxy Grout Film Removerwith a wet vacuum, clean towels or mops. Multiple applications may be necessary. After removing residue, scrub the entire surface with a nylon brush or pad and a solution of H2O Strip. Remove the cleaning solution with a wet vacuum. Rinse with clean water where necessary and allow to dry. Special Note:Use Epoxy Grout Film Remover on the surfaces of the individual tiles, not the grout joint. In some extreme cases it may be necessary to treat the entire surface area. Regrouting may be necessary to repair softened or discolored grout joints. Used product must not be disposed of as ordinary waste. Dispose of in accordance with state and local agencies.
