APPLICATION:
Read entire label and PDS/MSDS before using. 511 Spray-On Grout Sealer should not be diluted or thinned in any way. 511 Spray-On Grout Sealer should be used as is direct from approved container.
After Grouting: Once grouted, make sure that all grout residue is removed from the surface with a clean sponge and water. Allow grout to cure per manufacturers specification or at least 2 hours. If grout clean up is not performed effectively, an additional cleaning may be necessary to remove remaining grout residue or haze. For this procedure use Phosphoric Acid Cleaner, (GCFR) Grout & Concrete Film Remover (Hydrochloric Acid), Sulfamic Acid Crystals or Epoxy Grout Film Remover following the instructions carefully. Once the cleaned area has completely dried, proceed with the sealing of the grout for water and stain resistance. Apply 511 Spray-On Grout Sealer to all grout with the unique “Clean Hands” Spray. Any excess sealer that gets on the surface should be wiped off with a clean towel before it dries.
Existing Installation - Surface Preparation:
Surface must be dry and free of contaminants, including previously applied sealers, dirt, lime & hard water deposits, efflorescence, rust & other heavy dirt and grime.
Surface Coating/Wax Removal:
To remove existing coatings and/or waxes, use Mira Strip or H2O Strip as directed.
Heavy Duty Cleaning:
To remove lime and hard water deposits, efflorescence, rust, grease and other heavy dirt and grime use GCFR (Grout & Concrete Film Remover) or Phosphoric Acid Cleaner as directed. For a non-acid deep clean use Liquid Poultice as directed.
Light Cleaning:
Use Mira Clean #1, Porcelain & Ceramic Tile Cleaner, Mira Soap or Counter Kleen as directed.
Existing Installation - Application Instructions:
Once all grout and surrounding surfaces are clean, proceed with the application instructions previously mentioned.
Residue Removal:
To remove accumulated 511 Spray-On Grout Sealer, use Miracle Residue Remover as directed.
Cure Time:
511 Spray-On Grout Sealerwill be dry to the touch in 1 - 3 hours and may be used for normal foot traffic. For optimum results the area should be kept dry and free from staining materials for 72 hours.
